If your child played AAA or Majors baseball this spring and is interested in playing post-season baseball for Raleigh Hills, please read the below information:
What is Postseason Baseball?
RHLL hopes to field three All Star teams (12u, 11u, and 10u) and 2 Honors teams (12u & 10u) in 2026 to compete against fellow District 4 Little League teams in tournament play in late June and early July. RHLL players who played on a AAA or Majors team this spring are eligible to register. Our ability to form teams depends on the number of registered players.
- All Star teams are comprised of the most skilled players at each age level. These players will practice together for a few weeks before competing against other District 4 teams in a local tournament. District level champions move on to the State Tournament. The OR State tournament champion moves on to the Regional tournament in San Bernardino, CA, then potentially the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA. Players MUST be registered in order to be considered for an All Star team. Not all players who register for postseason baseball will be placed on an All Star team.
- Honors is an excellent opportunity to continue playing for players not selected to an All Star team. Honors teams will play against other District 4 teams at local fields in a similar tournament format.
How are players chosen?
All-Stars players are selected by vote from current spring RHLL AAA and Majors team managers. A list of all registered post-season candidates is provided to each Manager, and they nominate players who will best represent Raleigh Hills Little League for each All-Stars team. Several Raleigh Hills board members, including the President and Player Agent, provide oversight and input during the voting and team formation process. Players receiving the most votes will be placed on All-Star teams. RHLL hopes to field three All-Star teams (12u, 11u and 10u).
Does every player make a team?
We do our best to place every registered child on a team, but depending on the number of registrants, we may not be able to accommodate everyone. Families of players who were not placed to a team will receive a refund for post-season registration fees.
What is the time commitment / expectation?
When will we find out if our child made a team?
Teams will be announced shortly after Memorial Day weekend. Families will receive an email notifying them of team placement. A league announcement of All-Stars and Honors teams will follow.
What is the cost to participate?
The post-season registration fee is an initial $150 per player.
Honors players will not owe any additional money.
Players selected to an All-Star team will be charged an additional $60 in fees, due to the higher costs of the All-Star program (higher field fees, tournament fees, gear, and more).
If financial obstacles prevent your child from participating, please email [email protected]. We encourage maximum participation regardless of income and do not want the fees to prevent anyone from participating.
Interested players must register by the deadline of May 17, 2026.
