Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers ALWAYS Needed

Raleigh Hills Little League is a non-profit, parent-run, volunteer organization established in 1957 to provide baseball programs for kids in our neighborhood. All the league activities are planned and performed by parent-volunteers. This includes organizing teams, securing fields, buying uniforms, training umpires, scheduling over 600 games, coordinating with neighbor leagues, maintaining this website, paying the bills, .... and of course, managing and coaching all the players for a season. All together this work requires nearly 100 volunteers each season.

There are about 25 non-coaching positions requiring a variety of skills: handling uniforms, fieldwork, working with the fundraiser program, working with the sponsors program, and so on.

Volunteers needed:

  • Help with uniform distribution and collection
  • Help with communications between the school district and students/yard signs, etc.
  • Help with registration.
