RHLL Summer Plan

Subject: Raleigh Hills Little League Summer Plan

Raleigh Hills Little League Families,

We have been holding out hope for a delayed Spring/Summer regular season schedule, but with so many unknowns, we have determined that holding a regular season this summer is not feasible. This does not however mean that there will be no baseball. Our plan is to offer level-specific clinics along with sandlot style "pick up" games (likely at Alpenrose), when the time is right. The format and frequency of these clinics/games will be determined at a later date, but we will do everything we can to get as many kids as possible (all levels) on the field, playing with their friends sometime this summer.

As in years past, we are again planning to offer a Fall Ball program. This normally runs September through October and offers games against teams from other local little leagues as well as games against other RHLL teams. The Fall Ball program is designed to work as a secondary sport with limited to no practice, 2 games each weekend (Fri-Sat-Sun), and larger team rosters to accommodate players missing games for other sports. Look for more info on Fall Ball during the summer.

With the change in format of our season, we will be issuing full refunds of your spring T-ball, A, AA, AAA, and Majors registrations the week of June 1st. Families of Juniors players, please look for communication from our Juniors coordinator, Spencer Hodes, at a later date. As a non-profit organization, we depend on registration fees and generous donations from our families and community partners to help make Raleigh Hills Little League the amazing league that it is today. If you are able to donate a portion or all of your registration fees to the league, please follow this Donation Link and complete the questions by Wednesday, May 27th. Your donation is tax deductible and will go to help ensure that we are able to host summer clinics and sandlot games (e.g., field rental/maintenance), cover annual fixed costs, and support our player scholarship fund.

We are saddened to have to pivot our season, but we are excited about the possibility of still getting on the diamond at some point this summer.  Thank you all for your patience throughout this process. If you have any questions regarding the refund process or how to donate, please email us at [email protected]

See you at the ball field soon.
